The Florida Gators are set for their first true test of the 2026 season when they travel to Jordan-Hare Stadium to take on the Auburn Tigers on Saturday night. Brown brings a dangerous dual-threat element to Auburn’s offense. His ability to extend plays with his legs can turn routine third downs into conversions and create opportunities for Auburn’s playmakers downfield. Florida’s defense must maintain disciplined rush lanes and make Brown beat them primarily from the pocket. Losing contain or allowing him to repeatedly escape pressure could create long drives and explosive plays. Florida coach Jon Sumrall has specifically emphasized the importance of stopping Auburn’s rushing attack, noting that the Tigers’ run game can open up their passing concepts.

4. Win the Turnover Battle
